The XML document factory allows the developers at OrderStorm to set up custom documents that are generated on the fly for anything from special documents for specific products that are ordered to contracts for complex orders. The XML document factory dynamically generates the document from data stored in the database and streams that data along with the proper text and formatting into a MS Word document, XL Spreadsheet, PDF file, or almost any other document type. That document can then be transmitted by email, FAX, or sent to the mail room queue to be printed and mailed out.
Documents can be encoded with a bar code that can be read by the OrderStorm software when the document is returned to the system and then attached to the proper location in the system such as an order.
The automated eFax functionality allows you to send a document by FAX without printing the document. When the document is returned to your own eFax number the bar code on the document is read and attached to the proper location in the system automatically.
